A documentary film focused on the intersections of domestic violence, misogyny and White Supremacy.

As public discourse directs its attention onto the growing issue of domestic and male violence, conversations around how to keep victims safe are only increasing. And while it is right for us to centre the voices and stories of victims/survivors in these discussions, it is unjust for us to burden them with delivering a solution.

For far too long we have been focused on the symptoms rather than the cause. Which is why this documentary will follow our presenter on their investigation into the root cause of domestic violence - White Supremacist Patriarchy.

Through honest conversations and historical research, we will examine the role of White Supremacist Patriarchal ideology in creating and enabling domestic violence, especially towards women. In this documentary we’ll explore subjects such as the construct of masculinity, consent, cultural misogyny, the ‘war against women’, government policy/acton and more through the lens of gender, race, identity, and sexuality. By doing so, not only will our presenter and audience be able to understand the drivers behind this societal violence, but also how we can prevent it from happening.
