The challenge 

How does a media giant like Channel 4 attract an array of young people from across the UK with different backgrounds into the media industry?

The solution 

New Material - An events programme in six regional hubs that combines entertainment, collaboration and networking to inspire change-making talent to launch their media careers.

Using the concept ‘Creativity is in everyone’, our messaging challenged the idea that only a chosen few are creative. Instead we wanted to show that creativity is everywhere and in everyone (including roles not seen as traditionally creative).

My role 

As copywriter on the project I lead on the conceptual development of the event, working with the designer/art director to develop the visual language of the event, event collateral and online assets. I also worked on the content strategy for the event.
